My unit stops stimulating:

My unit stops measuring EMG :

The most likely cause to this problem is faulty electrodes. Please try to new electrodes to see if this solves the problem.

If you still have problems, it may a due to a damaged lead wire. Try using a different lead wire on the effected channel to see if it fixes the fault.

Another cause could be the electrode losing its adhesivity to the skin. Please try replacing the electrode if this happens and clean the area your are stimulating with alcohol.

How long do the batteries last:

This depends on the amount of stimulation and the type of unit. Generally a good quality alkaline battery should last for around 40 to 60 hours using two channels and stimulating at around 20 to 30 milliamps. Stronger milliamp levels will run the battery down faster.
